Katie Victoriano

Teacher

Katie began teaching at John Knox Co-Op Preschool (JKCP) in 2025, after first becoming involved with the school during the 2024–2025 academic year when her son attended the Chipmunks Classroom. She quickly fell in love with the co-op model and is thrilled to now be part of the JKCP family and community.

Before joining JKCP, Katie spent time at home supporting her son’s early learning and growth. She cherished her “apron days” at the preschool, which reignited her passion for being in the classroom.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Childhood Development from Cal State East Bay in 2016. She also earned an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Development and an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Intervention from Las Positas Community College in 2015.

Her professional experience includes teaching in the Two’s Room at LLESA Children’s Center in Livermore, CA. She later became the Lead Teacher in the Early Preschool Classroom at Bright Horizons at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Katie transitioned to the Bright Horizons Dublin Center, where she taught in the Early Preschool Classroom and assisted with administrative duties.

Katie has always had a deep passion for working with young children and finds joy in watching them learn and grow throughout the year. She is known for her patient and nurturing approach, and she builds strong, trusting relationships with the children and families she works with. Her enthusiasm and creativity shine through in her hands-on teaching style, which encourages exploration, imagination, and joyful learning. Katie believes in teaching through play and developmentally appropriate practices, always striving to create a classroom environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired.
